We have created an off-the-beaten track, off-road tour on hidden and secret twee-spoor and other off-road tracks. You will need a 4×4 high clearance vehicle with low range and the tour is suitable for off-road camping trailers. We have selected camp sites that we have visited many times; all the campsites are rustic, but all have suitable ablution facilities. Most will even have hot showers.
We have visited these areas for many years and it’s stunning scenery makes us return on a regular basis. We will guide you to incredible places with views that you will never forget. The next morning after a possible lengthy border crossing experience, the adventure in Botswana starts with a drive to a great lodge on the Western side of the country. Here you will experience a great campfire and some tales from our past adventures in this fantastic country. We travel to Maun, and you are treated with a little bit of luxury; we stay in a tented camp which means you do not have to set up camp. Maun is described as the gateway of safari and adventure into Africa and we have enough time to do some shopping, explore the town and for those that are keen, take a flight in a light plane over one of the greatest wonders of Africa, the Okavango Delta. This is optional and not included in the tour price. We have to book this in advance, so please let me know on your booking form.
We leave Maun after brunch the next morning and this is when the real adventure starts; for the next 10 days we explore the heart of Botswana and spend very special moments in the Moremi and the Savuti. We visit the most famous campsites and do many game drives into the different areas. We can book a boat ride or for the brave ones a mokoro ride in the Delta. There will be many magical moments in this magical place and something unexpected will happen every day.
Remember, the camp sites here are all unfenced, and we will have regular visits by the elephants, definitely hyenas and possibly lions and many other animals. You might be lucky and see a wild dog hunt and kill in the camp site; we have… The monkeys and baboons will harass us many times; this will be a great experience on its own!

PRICE
The price is R 17 550 per person sharing; half-price for children under 12 and children under 6 are free (at the time of the tour). Single supplement is R 22 000. Pricing for non-SADC members available on request.
