Itineraries
DAY 1 (SAT)
Meet in Ceres, drive to Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve, and gather around the fire. The
adventure begins.
DAY 2 - 3 (SUN - MON)
Explore the rugged back routes of the Cederberg, stay two nights in the Biedouw Valley.
Hikes and flowers in an unforgettable setting.
Day 4 - 6 (TUE - THU)
Head to the Nieuwoudtville area for three nights near one of Namaqualand’s best flower
regions. Visit the waterfall, the world’s largest Quiver Tree Forest, enjoy local farm stalls,
and dine at charming restaurants.
DAY 7 - 8 (FRI - SAT)
Descend the Vanrhyns Pass, travel through the Knersvlakte, stop for supplies in
Vanrhynsdorp, then take a secret back road to Gifberg. Short hike through a mountain stream,
waterfalls, and spectacular views.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- A fully serviced, reliable 4x4 in excellent condition
- Fuel for 500 km (off-road, some thick sand)
- Plenty of water
- All meals, snacks, and drinks
- All camping gear
- Basic first-aid kit
- Recovery equipment (ropes, shackles, etc.)
- Firewood for the first few days
Note: Park fees are included when inside parks, and excluded when camping outside
