Itineraries
Day 1-2
Chobe Safari Lodge Campsite, Chobe National Park, Botswana
Your grand adventure begins on the lush banks of the Chobe River. Spend two days camped beneath towering trees where you’ll quickly feel immersed in the wild. Afternoon game drives and boat cruises offer thrilling encounters with Chobe’s abundant elephants, buffalo, and hippos.
Day 3
Moorings Campsite, Zambia
Crossing into Zambia, we overnight at Moorings Campsite—a perfect stopover in a peaceful farm-style setting. Prepare for the next leg of your journey with comfortable facilities and a tranquil rural ambiance.
Day 4

Mvuu Lodge Campsite, Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia
Head into Lower Zambezi National Park and camp at the lovely Mvuu Lodge. Set right on the riverbank, this is a prime spot for sundowners and listening to the nocturnal chorus of the bush, with hippos grunting and lions calling into the starry night.
Day 5
Bridge Camp, Zambia
Bridge Camp on the Luangwa River offers a picturesque overnight stop. Relax at camp as the river flows gently past and reflect on the days ahead.
Day 6-7
Wildlife Campsite, South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
Two nights at the famed South Luangwa National Park mean spectacular game drives and rich wildlife encounters. Here, leopards prowl in the dusk light and lions roar close to camp — a highlight of the trip.
Day 8
Ituba Community Campsite, North Luangwa National Park, Zambia
Ituba Community Campsite lies on the edge of wild North Luangwa, one of the most remote parks in Zambia. This overnight stop is a rare and authentic experience far from mainstream routes.
Day 9-10
Njaya Lodge Campsite, Malawi
After crossing into Malawi, we pause for two nights at Njaya Lodge Campsite along Lake Malawi’s pristine shoreline. Swim, kayak, or simply soak in the tranquil lakeside views and the local village life surrounding you.
Day 11-12
Ngala Beach Lodge Campsite, Malawi
Next up is Ngala Beach Lodge Campsite, where you’ll spend two more nights under palm trees and beside crystal-clear lake waters. Relax on the beach, explore nearby villages, and revel in the tropical ambiance.
Day 13-14
Fat Monkeys Campsite, Malawi
Two nights at Fat Monkeys Campsite in Cape Maclear offer a perfect base for lake adventures — snorkeling, kayaking, or island-hopping excursions into Lake Malawi National Park.
Day 15
Kukutana Lodge Campsite, Mozambique
Cross into Mozambique and overnight at Kukutana Lodge Campsite, nestled near Gorongosa National Park. The tranquil surroundings prepare you for the days ahead spent tracking wildlife in this legendary park.
Day 16-18
Gorongosa Campsite, Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique
Three unforgettable nights in Gorongosa await. Explore the park’s diverse habitats — floodplains, savanna, and forest — and keep watch for elephants, lions, and endemic birdlife as you experience one of Mozambique’s most remarkable wildlife recovery stories.
Day 19
Casa Msika Lodge Campsite, Mozambique
Casa Msika Lodge, perched along Lake Chicamba, provides a restful overnight stop to enjoy the lakeside serenity before the next stretch of wild adventure.
Day 20
Chipinda Pools Campsite, Gonarezhou National Park, Zimbabwe
Cross into Zimbabwe and camp at Chipinda Pools on the edge of the iconic Gonarezhou National Park. Hear hippos snorting at sunset as you prepare for days of game viewing in this spectacular landscape of sandstone cliffs and rivers.
Day 21-22
Chitove Exclusive Campsite, Gonarezhou National Park, Zimbabwe
Spend two nights at Chitove Exclusive Campsite deep within Gonarezhou. This secluded, unguarded campsite places you in the heart of the wilderness where game drives reveal elephants and prides of lion that call this park home.
Day 23
Mabalauta Developed Campsite, Gonarezhou National Park, Zimbabwe
Your last night in Gonarezhou is at Mabalauta Developed Campsite, offering rustic charm and facilities for a comfortable farewell to this beautiful park.
Day 24
Punda Maria, Kruger National Park, South Africa
Cross into South Africa and overnight at Punda Maria Rest Camp in Kruger National Park. Spend your final game drive searching for Kruger’s Big Five before celebrating a successful journey with fellow adventurers.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Fully serviced and reliable 4x4 with low-range
- Fuel capacity for at least 800 km
- Suitable recovery gear and a quality tire repair kit
- Drinking water, food, snacks for at least 9 days at a time
- Complete camping setup and firewood
- Personal First Aid kit
- Valid driver’s license
- Passports valid for 6+ months with at least 2 blank visa pages
- Vehicle registration papers, or authorization letters if the vehicle is financed or rented
- ZA sticker for South African-registered vehicles
- Third-party insurance valid for 90 days
- Sufficient funds for border fees and park entries outside parks
- Malaria prophylaxis recommended — consult your doctor
